LIDDA: Targeted Case Management Issue Brief

The service delivery system for Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is slated to undergo significant changes in the coming years; most notably, Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) services and supports will be shifted from services managed by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to services managed by insurance companies (referred to as “managed care”).
